Catherine (Cathy)’s practice includes commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, real estate development, leasing, real estate financing, and corporate structuring. In addition to commercial real estate, she also has experience in acting for institutional and private lenders and in general corporate and commercial matters, including corporate governance, reorganizations, and the purchase and sale of businesses.
Prior to joining Terra Law, Cathy practiced as a general solicitor at a full-service firm in Richmond, BC.
Cathy obtained her law degree from the Peter A. Allard School of Law, University of British Columbia in 2019. Prior to attending law school, Cathy attended Simon Fraser University on scholarship and obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in criminology. She was called to the bar of British Columbia in 2020.
Cathy is fluent in Mandarin and reads and writes Chinese.
